About Courtney Grey

Barn Manager, competitor through 4th level and USDF Bronze Medalist

Courtney graduated from Colorado State University in 2010 with a B.S. in Equine Science. She spent some time in Lexington, KY working at Stonestreet Farms - broodmare division, where she bred and foaled out over 65 thoroughbred mares and learned the ins and outs of the breeding industry. She also worked in Ocala, FL at KESMARC, where her main focus was rehabilitating horses from a variety of injuries and illnesses. At KESMARC, she also conditioned many young racehorses, eventers, and other equine athletes from all over the area with their Aquatread, swimming pool, laser therapy, and hyperbaric chamber. In 2011, Courtney decided to head home to Colorado and began working with Anita. In 2017, Courtney earned her USDF Bronze Medal on her own self trained Thoroughbred off the track, Dancer. In 2018, she competed Dancer with scores of 66%+ at 4th Level.

While Courtney always had an interest in dressage, her true passion for the discipline really came out after she began riding with Anita. She was afforded the opportunity to ride Anita’s many talented horses, and develop her skills on these horses as well as her own OTTB, Dancer. In 2013, Courtney showed Song of Morocco at training and 1st levels, and came out AA RMDS Reserve Champion at training level. In 2016, Courtney competed Dancer at 2nd and 3rd levels to earn her USDF Bronze medal. Courtney is the barn manager at Anita Williams Dressage barn in Eagle Colorado and can be contacted at courtcgrey@gmail.com or go to the contact us page.
